PACT requires its members to have a high standard of training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
In order to become a professional member therapists are required to have completed a two year diploma (700 hrs) with one of our accredited training schools, or hold an appropriate qualification in BCST with an outside training that meets our standards.
All new members are required to have six sessions of supervision their first three years of membership with a PACT approved supervisor. We encourage all members to engage with supervision throughout their professional lives, but it is only a requirement in these first three years.
To ensure our members maintain a high level of competency they are also required to undertake post-graduate BCST studies. The Continuing Professional Development currently required to maintain membership is 20 hrs of post graduate study in any three year period.
Practising members in New Zealand and Australia must also hold a current First Aid certificate. This is a legal requirement in New Zealeand and Australia. Currently it is not a requirement in our other membership countries.
